Turn one of the most iconic dyslexic-founded companies into an interactive museum celebrating Dyslexia Awareness Month.
The Swedish language presents Americans with a lot of odd-looking letter combinations that resemble the typical spelling mistakes of Dyslexic people.
Using IKEA signage and wayfinding, we will tell the holistic story of what it means to be dyslexic. IKEA manual imagery to help us show how the dyslexic mind works.
In-store signage introducing the interactive experience
Ikea uses projectors for wayfinding so it will demonstrate the ways dyslexics think through projected animations on the floor. Interactive games that require dyslexic cognitive strengths will also be projected on display walls.
Have showrooms designed in homage to some of the great dyslexic minds like Albert Einstein, Steve Jobs, and Kiera Knightly. Interact to see how these people used their dyslexic minds.
